In today's world, mostly all the analysis of structure are being performed by software tools. Which was not the case till a couple of decade ago. Structural analysis at that time or before that, was done with help of handbooks and coefficients from different codes. Coefficients used, were arrived by derivations, continuous research work and experimental result data. Now there is no relation between the difference in magnitude of moment / hoop tension value arrived by manual analysis as compared to software analysis. This is why this comparative study comes into picture.
