JADIDISM AND LEXICOGRAPHY OF THE PERIOD

Enlightened Jadid writers, along with their literary, scientific and publicistic works in the Uzbek Na- tional Renaissance literature, have established thier place in Uzbek lexicography, namely the formation and de- velopment of the dictionary compiling. The language of artistic works they created has played a great role in the formation and development of the Uzbek linguistics, the dictionaries they created as well as linguistic principles they brought forward have played major role in formation and development of Uzbek scientific linguistics and Uzbek dictionary compiling science. In recent years, the Jadidian literary works, the contribution they made to the development of the new Uzbek literary language, as well as the linguistic and linguistic views of individual scholars, in particular, contain monographs, such as the scientific heritage of writers, artistic talent and, more precisely, were studied in some relationship
