Abstract
The article is devoted to the work of the talented Azerbaijani artist Ibrahim Safi, who lived and worked in Turkey. It is noted that the optimistic, transparent coloring of some landscapes and still lifes, the play- fulness of colors brings him closer to the French impressionists, showing his passion for light, brilliance and beauty that impressionism brings to nature. It is emphasized that the artist's works, created in a free impressionist manner, reflect views of Turkish cities, landscapes of the Bosphorus and the countryside, portraits, genre scenes, still lifes with flowers and fruits
