Abstract
This article considers the impact of social networks and virtual communication on the psychology of young people: positive and negative aspects, ways to overcome virtual addiction. The relevance of the topic is that nowadays, during the quarantine period associated with the COVID-19 virus disease, young men are forced to spend an increasing amount of time on online platforms, and in order to preserve their health, communication is also transferred to a virtual environment, since it does not require live contact. More and more young people are studying and working through the global Internet. How can one avoid losing himself in a virtual communication environment when it is pressing from all sides, or is it better to replace real communication with a virtual one? I tried to figure out it in this article.
