Abstract

This research examines the shift and significance shifts in the poetry of Abu Isshaq Ibn Khafajah Al-Andalusi, who died in 533 AH, in his collected divan "Al Muntakhab" (the selected), compared to what is included in the Andalusian literature of his poetry, before the appearance and spread of his divan, through revealing the dimensions of the shift in significance, by standing on several analytical levels related to the stylistic study methodology in its evolutionary descriptive dimension. The paper concludes that the poet, in his modification of a wide section of his poetry, intersected with the modernist concept of deviation with his two main branches: substitution deviation, and synthetic deviation, which shows an evolution in his poetics, in terms of the formation of the poetic sense aesthetically showing deep shifts of significance constructed along the development of his poetic experience, which deepened in the later stages of his life, in terms of subject, methods of performance, and expressions .
