Abstract

An outbreak of coronavirus infection has disrupted the normal rhythm of life around the world. Today, it is impossible to predict completely the effects of the pandemic on the education sector, including higher education. This is primarily due to the fact that the situa-tion is still unfolding, and the direct effects are layered on social, psychological, economic and other factors of the social environment. In the context of the ongoing pandemic, distance learning mechanisms have acquired new significance and become the solution to most educational problems. They remained the only available method of imparting knowledge while maintaining a sufficient distance between participants in the learning process. For its organization it is necessary to rely on complex software solutions such as the Teams platform. At the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, the distance form of education was used for both pre-diploma and postgraduate studies. Daily video consultations were held according to pre-agreed schedules; to answer debatable questions of the discipline, reading lecture material; students received assignments in the form of tests and clinical tasks. It is worth noting the flexibility of the platform in relation to users who have established preferences. For example, the Zoom application, if necessary, can be directly integrated into the Teams software environment as a chatbot, and function as a bookmark. This way, events scheduled in Zoom will be added to the Teams event calendar, and invitations and reminders will be sent to study group members. Another important point is the integration of the application with the MsSharePoint platform, which al-lows you to run a site of the same name in parallel, with the same membership and shared libraries. The teacher also has a secure video storage Stream which allows you to view, post, share educational video files. The system is deprived of the opportunity to conduct surveys during lectures, displaying real-time voting results. Unfortunately, the Forms application, which is part of Office365, despite the rather powerful capabilities for creating polls and votes, does not have such interactive features. This function is necessary to attract attention, and in the conditions of distance education may be also the mechanism for checking the participation of respondents in the assimilation of the material, can be implemented by involving third-party applications, such as voting in Telegram or Viber. To directly display the result in the slide material of the presentation, the best online platform seems to be Mentimeter, which is also available in the form of mobile applications for iOS and Android operating systems. The application allows you to turn the respondent's mobile device into a full-fledged tool for interactive participation in a teleconference, not only allowing you to answer the lecturer's questions, but also to put them in text form. The format of tests and tasks that can be created, is not only a choice between several text options, but also the choice of the answer among several proposed illustrations, the possibility of calibrating a certain phenomenon, the choice of several options among many one-word options. For each of the respondents, the answers are counted taking into account the time for reflection, and the possibility of constructing ranking results. The use of the platform helps to increase stu-dents' interest in the study material, provides a mecha-nism for verifying the active participation of respondents in the discussion and receiving feedback. However, it is important not to lose the positive aspects of the old model of learning by forming a new direction.
