Definition and algorithm for developing the competitive strategies of a trading company

Abstract
Following the analysis of modern scientific approaches to the interpretation of the definition of «competitive strategy» the article proposed the author's definition of competitive strategy of trade enterprises as models of actions of the enterprise in relation to competitors, aimed at neutralizing the influence of external factors and the competition with the aim of forming and retaining long-term desired competitive position in target markets. The author's algorithm for developing competitive strategies of a commercial enterprise has been proposed. It included the phases of strategic analysis and strategic planning and ends with the formation of a strategic set of competitive strategies of a commercial enterprise.
