Abstract
Vapour Compression Refrigeration System is one of the refrigeration systems which provies cooling affect through phase chage phenomenon. This system has been considered as one of the comercicalsystem because of its performance characterestics. The COP of the VCR system can be increasedby manyways, but as per research it was found that Nano fluids have high heat transfer potential, increased thermal properties comparison with the othermethods.Thiswork involves introduction of TiO2 nanoparticles in the lubrication oil known as Nano-lubricant. The COP can be calculated at the different volume fractions and is compared with that of the base VCR system using R22 as refrigerant. The Nanoparticles in lubricant improves the tribological characteristics when introduced in compressor of VCR system which in turn reduces the compressor work.
