Abstract
An approach to the risk management process based on the traditional principles of risk management is used in this article as the basis for constructing a risk management model for the educational activities of higher education institutions. The mechanisms that ensure the effective functioning of the system that ensures the reduction or compensation of the risks of educational activities proposed in this material can be adapted and used to create an integrated risk management system for any educational institution. The approach to the system of risks of the educational activity has a number of features and nuances, some of which this article tries to cover. The key principles proposed in it are of practical application and tested in the course of the experiment
