Abstract
The objective of the study is to identify and analyse the financial impact of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rehab in supervised vs unsupervised exercise. The methodology adopted for the study is to collect primary data analysis using survey data analysis. The tools used for the study is SPSS 18, Excel spreadsheets, and descriptive statistics. The findings of the study clearly show that the use of supervised exercise in post-ACL re-habitation has a positive financial impact on patients in terms of recovery, starting back to normal life, i.e. joining the office, joining the games and performing normal routine duties. On average, a total of 20 visits are required for the supervised group during the 12-week rehabilitation program as per the WILK protocol. The average amount of money spent on physiotherapy would be 10-12 thousand for physiotherapy sessions. And in return, patients are able to join their routine life in three months compared to patients in the unsupervised group. This small amount is therefore of great value to patients and athletes
