Abstract
In article results of a research of economic and administrative mechanisms of the municipalities influencing formation of potential of self-development are stated. Also, the character and the directions regarding creation of organizational and economic
conditions for effective activity and development of economic entities of municipal units is defined. As economic criteria of self-development criteria for evaluation of efficiency of activity of similar structures are defined.
