INVESTIGATION OF THE POSTURES OF THE EMPLOYEES IN THE TEXTILE WORKPLACE WITH MOBILE APPLICATION AND EFFECT ON EFFICIENCY

Abstract

The aim of this study is to diagnose using mobile application of posture situations of laborer which work standing up position. In this context, it is aimed to make a quick and reliable pre-screening of the employees in the workplace, to examine the relationship of the results with each other and to indirectly determine the processes that can be used in the field of occupational health and safety and its impact on productivity. The sample of the study consists of 27 people, 23 men and 4 women, working on units such as cutting, packaging, and control in the textile sector, selected on a voluntary basis. Within the scope of the study, first of all, the photographs of the participants were taken half-dressed and in a suit, laterally and anteriorly, twice. Photographs taken in the lateral or anterior position were uploaded to the PhysioCode Posture Application, the touch image segments in the application were placed at certain reference points of the body and the results were obtained. The interrater correlation coefficient between the results of the values taken from the two positions was found to be highly reliable at .915. In addition, the symetrigraph feature of the application utilized the braggpostic card, and the neck, thoracic and lordosis regions were evaluated and the results were transformed into writing with the determined grading scale. As a result of the mobile application, it was observed that 84% of the employees had a 10 ° or more neck angle laterally, and there were no significant problems in other shoulder, knee and ankle regions.
