Abstract
The research took place in order to address the situation of the Jordanian legislator, from adopted definition to well-known trade mark and scope of protection in (JTML), study concluded that the definition used violates the adopted standards for (TRIPS) and the Judicial decision made by Jordan Constitutional Court on April 29th of 2020. Meanwhile the scope of protection coincides with (TRIPS) standards. The study recommended said legislator to apply modification to (JTML) to meet with (TRIPS) standards
