Abstract

For the first time since the end of World War II, all countries, organizations, economic sectors, companies, and individuals are under a common influence at the same time due to the Covid-19 virus crisis. The international tourism industry has been the most severely affected. For the first time in decades, global tourism growth has been negative. According to the most optimistic forecasts, the global tourist flow will decrease by 58% in 2020. Сompared to 2019 both in terms of the number of tourists and income. All countries are forced to look for solutions, in the short or long term, to minimize the negative consequences of this pandemic. This article explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on international tourism in Egypt. Various measures are analyzed that countries are taking to prevent the destruction of the tourism industry (for example, Egypt), which include financial, economic, medical measures. The author's proposals were made to minimize the impact of coronavirus infection in order to restore the tourist flow to Egypt and stabilize the development of tourism in Egypt
