Abstract

This article discusses the innovations and changes introduced to Uzbek literature. Some new changes in form and content were introduced to Uzbek literature in the twentieth century. Poets and writers tried to create their works in a new way. We can see an example of this through the lyrical works of such writers and poets as Abdurauf Fitrat, Abdulhamid Sulaymon o'gli Cho'lpon, Askad Mukhtor. It is innovations and changes in Uzbek poetry of the twentieth century what is analyzed and commented on in this article. The leading trends and movements of this period also reacted to the theoretical views of scientists on their emergence. The article analyzes the poems of the poets of that period and clarifies the changes in the national thinking and feeling which found their reflection in their poems with the views and opinions of several literary critics. It also discusses modernism, which was a novelty for the poetry of the time, and the factors of its emergence in Uzbek literature.
