Abstract
One of the environmental problems encountered in bauxite mining activities is wastewater, which if not managed properly can cause water pollution. Some of these studies conclude that bauxite mining activities affect the concentration of heavy metals, namely aluminum, nickel, copper, lead, and chromium. However, in general, post-bauxite mining areas still have potential for cultivation activities, despite changes in water quality in the area.
