Abstract
This paper presents and proposes a model of a self-mobile system with mentioning the stochastic characteristic in the friction force. The friction force is assumed as a stationary white noise randomprocess. Implementation is to analyze the stochastic characteristic in the friction force for the motion of the self-mobile system in order to get the responses, such as its displacements and velocities. In this paper, we also have analyzed and evaluated the effect of some model parameters to the motion in the considered system. There are motion results in two models of deterministic and stochastic friction force, showing that when the friction force is deterministic, the progression rate – that is displacement of x2 is always greater than the others. From the given results, engineers could choose the model parameters during monitoring and controlling the motion of a self-mobile system to reach the best progression.
