Abstract
In the present article precise diagnosis of Notoedric mange by use of a noise clear up (pore) strips in a cat was described. A 1.5 years old cat was admitted to the present authors' clinic with head shaking, pruritus and auricular debris formation. noise clear up (pore) strip was sticked to the auricular cavity following squeezing, followed by cotton swab sampling onto the same localization for comparative diagnosis. Both techniques revealed presence of Notoedric mange, in which 9 versus 6 adult mites were evident, respectively. Eprinomectin was prescribed intraauricularly for a total of 4 application per week, which resulted in parasitological (no live mite) and clinical cure at the beginning on week 1.
