PROVIDING APPROPRIATE EXECUTIVE METHODS FOR REHABILITATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-RISE CONCRETE HOSPITAL DURING OPERATION

Abstract
Rehabilitation and area expanding of the hospitals building is an important and highly demanded. The methods for development and strengthening are varied. This research consists of two phases. The first phase is to increase the load-bearing capacity and reinforce the ground floor of Aria Hospital in Ahvaz by installing a new 8-ton MRI machine. The hospital structure was analyzed by Etabs software as results 15 columns and their connection by beams need strengthening. The CFRP polymer reinforced carbon fiber system was used for reinforcement to increase the bearing capacity. This system was compared with other technical and economic methods and was preferred. Phase 2 is about the design and development of the hospital building structure. There are two development methods to increase one floor on the hospital building: the use of light steel structure (LSF) and the use of conventional concrete structures with doublesided slab roofs. The mentioned methods were analyzed technically and economically. The disadvantages and advantages of both methods of development plan were presented in order to select the most optimal method from this perspective. In the discussion of developing the structure of a building with a concrete structure, it was found that its cost is less than a light steel structure, but in terms of execution time, more time is needed and the weight of a concrete structure is higher than a light steel structure. All calculations have been loaded accurately by FRAMECAD STRUCTURE 2018 software and Etabs, which are fully mentioned in this article. As a result of this research, the development of a hospital with a light steel structure is higher economically than a concrete structure, and in other cases, a light metal structure is superior. At present, the hospital building has been developed in this way, and the current situation shows a 50% increase in hospital admissions.
