Abstract
Autism (aka autism spectrum disorder) is the range of conditions marked by issues faced with common dexterity, recurring behaviours, speech and nonverbal contact, and also as by individual strengths and differences. Autism is induced by various combinations of hereditary and ecological influences. Artificial Intelligence techniques can be applied to identify or predict Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Data with huge volumes have higher dimensions poses many challenges in an analysis of ASD. Conventional data mining usually deals with data from a dataset from many sources in different domains. In this research work, a detailed survey on ASD with respect to the artificial intelligence methods used to prognosis and diagnosis.
