Abstract
In recent times, due to COVID-19, technology-based education or termed as online learning, has turned into an important instrument for teaching and learning. Although this type of education system emerged as an alternative mode globally for the current learning system, it remained at the early stage of development. Consequently, it is imperative for education researchers to determine students' attitudes and perceptions towards educational technology or EdTech in order to assess the effectiveness of such offerings. The present study was carried out to discover the attitude of students towards educational technology. The study was conducted on undergraduate students of an art faculty at a university in Malaysia. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The findings indicated that, most of students (86.85%) had a positive attitude to the use of educational technology, while 13.15% of students had an unfavorable attitude towards it. Furthermore, students' computers or laptops ownership and computer proficiency were found to have positive impacts. These findings might be of interest to academicians, university administrators, and policymakers involved in the planning, development, and implementation of future online learning strategies.
