Abstract

The usage of Port land pozzolana cement is increasing day by day. Self compacting concrete is very useful where there is thick reinforcement and great depth of the section. The cement used for this project is Portland pozzolana cement (Fly ash based), mineral admixtures are SF, MK and chemical admixture is polycarboxylate Ether (PCE).In this study the replacement of Portland pozzalana cement with SF, MK and combination of SF+MK was about 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% respectively. The tests conducted in fresh state of concrete are slump flow test, L-box test, V-funnel test, Ubox test. In hardened state of concrete the compressive strength and split tensile strength at various ages of concrete was done. In durability tests acid test, chloride test and sulphate attack test was done according to the standards.
