Abstract

Multicast routing protocol is a mandatory communication technique in Wireless Mesh Network (WMN), so it attracts many researchers based on its less cost, reliable coverage, stable topology, etc. The proposed CEHO technique is utilized to load balance path that reduces demand on the link through minimal airtime metric by selecting the path with minimal delay. From the existing routing protocols with load balancing path, it has high delay in data transmission and great number of retransmissions provided via packet drops. For preventing this issue also improve a delay from one end to other; we are proposing a Chaotic Elephant Herd Optimizer. This optimizer is applied on the Hybrid load aware Multicast Routing protocol (HybLA-RP) to achieve the optimal path with minimal delay. The proposed technique is compared to existing GA-LA-HWMP and ASA-CA method. The output results displays that path recognized by proposed technique yields a minimum delay and higher throughput to existing counterpart.
