Abstract

In the rapidly growing IoT scenario, security is an enormously sensible problem. In current years the measure of cyber-attacks is growing hastily. It is very perplexing to design robust security protocols. Numerous cyber security protocol systems are reviewed to accomplish confidentiality and authenticity of nodes. The enormity of the smart grid and the augmented communication competences sort it an extra prone to cyber spasms. A smart grid is a massive intricate network composed of millions of expedients and units linked with each other. In this research work, we reviewed the modern smart grid security by conducting review to the stakeholders. We highlight the intricacy of the smart grid system and confer the susceptibilities precise to this vast assorted network and attempt to receive stakeholder analysis in the United Arab Emirates. The study was interested in the contingency planning that is an important security issue relating to intelligent power grids in the UAE. With this study, and by analyzing the various acts, we strive to try to gauge how smart service paradigms help to reduce the risk related to the security in smart grids based on the stakeholder analysis. A few popular frameworks, such as the Open Authorization Frameworks (OUATH) and Message Digest Algorithm 5 (MD5) which are some o the more used cyber security protocol employed in UAE in particular in intelligent power grids are studies closely.
