Abstract
The article reviews the country's tax policy as regulating part of economic relation, export-oriented trade policy stimulation, and export promoting policy, sustainable development aspects, role of taxes in ensuring sustainable economic development, Georgia's foreign trade dynamics, economic growth strategy through export stimulation, definition of tax policy directions. Against the background of current economic processes in the country a lot of attention is given to the most significant element of economic policy, increasing of export potential, tax policy and tax system formation and improvement issues. Therefore, the main task is to optimize export and import and harmonize internal and external markets. But proper tax policy is necessary precondition of further stable development of the country's economy. Harmonization of entrepreneurs' commercial interests and state interests depends on it in general. Taking into account economic tasks and challenges Georgia faces and for country's sustainable development, the main directions should become economic stability of the country's tax policy and stimulation of priority fields of economics, development of sectors of export products and promoting of export growth, country's economic security protection.
