Abstract

Agribusiness has been the backbone of the Indian economy since independence and till now. India is the world's third biggest maker of food-grains, second-biggest producer of fruits and vegetables, and biggest producer of milk. The significance of the agriculture sector in India as per financial and social perspectives is impressive seeing progressive decay of agriculture's offer to under 15% because of high development paces of modern areas. Around 75% of India's families rely upon rural income. Most of India's poor (approximately 770 million or about 70%) are found in country regions. India's food security relies upon delivering cereal crops, as well as expanding its production of fruits, vegetables and milk to fulfill the needs of a developing populace with rising livelihoods. To do as such, a profitable, competitive, expanded and feasible farming area should arise at a quickened pace. Blockchain technology despite the fact that in its incipient stage has just demonstrated to be very effective as far as security and reliability with wide acknowledgment over various areas like Finance, Trade, and Marketing. Blockchain can guarantee an effective food-Supply Chain framework in India, the farmers or producers who regularly end up with fewer margins can get profited, and furthermore simultaneously purchasers can believe the items they purchase without agonizing over scams or fakes.
