Abstract
Merger and Acquisitions are taking place in corporate world to gain competitive position in global market. This research focuses on Strategic motive towards M&A impact on profitability. For this purpose Pharmaceutical and Information technology sector was considered as sample for the study. Further five companies are selected from each sector from 2015-2019. To analyze the impact financial and statistical tools are used like ratio, mean, regression and t-test. Study revealed positive impact of M&A on profitability of company.
