Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase the split tensile strength of concrete with palm fiber mixed with 3115N viscocrete. Where palm fibers and viscocrete 3115N are used as additives to the concrete mixture. Examination using a cylinder with a size of 30 x 15 cm at the age of 28 da ys, with a slump value of 60 - 180 mm. This research was conducted at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra by using methods and steps based on concrete practicum and SNI 03-2834- 2000. From the research results, the compressive strength of the concrete plan was 26 MPa. The percentage of palm fiber in the mixture is 7%, 8% and 9%, while for viscocrete 3115N is used 0.8%.
