Abstract
Since the beginning of the developments of modern-day robots, people are very much fascinated by them. There is innumerable number of robots in almost all the sectors in the present-day. A lot of new techniques on robotics is developed since its inception. This has resulted in the utilization of electronic concepts in the development of state-of-the-art modern-day robots which can nearly mimic the humans and can nearly do all the sophisticated jobs without failure. In this article, a line-following robot has been studied and developed without using any kind of microcontrollers. Pure analog components like transistors have been used for this application. It is a cheaper and reliable way to develop small DIY robots. Its small, easy to learn, fun application that targets newbies to get a glimpse of hardware implementation in the fields of engineering.
