Abstract
In this paper a hexagonal patch antenna is proposed operating at2.45 GHz Industrial, Scientific and Medicine (ISM) band. The substrate materials used for the study are cotton, denim, polyester, fleece, and FR4 with overall dimensions as 38mm x 30 mm. The thickness of the substrate differs for each of the textile fabric and FR4 but the length and width remain the same. The width of the microstrip feed line is optimized to achieve desired resonance and bandwidth coverage for each of the substrate material.
