Abstract
Quality test is relevant to the educational system to evaluate the learning of the students. To ensure good quality test, analysis of test items must be conducted. Though there are already existing applications and software to generate test item analysis, these are limited and still require manual processes which increase the workload of the teachers. One technique to address this problem is to develop an Automated Test Item Analysis System (ATIAS) using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR). The main concern of this study is to design, develop and evaluate Automated Test Item Analysis System with OMR. Developmental research design was used in the study conducted at Senior High School (SHS) Department of Calancuasan National High School (CNHS). This secondary school is located in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. The proposed system was developed following the six phases of Agile software development. Two groups of respondents, chosen based on purposive sampling, participated in assessing the technical quality of the system based on International Organization for Standardization ISO/IEC 25010 Software Quality Standards. Based on the results evaluation by IT experts and end-users, the Automated Test Item Analysis System with Optical Mark Recognition conformed to the ISO 25010 Software Quality Standards.
