CURRENT SITUATION AND PROBLEMS IN DEVELOPMENT SUSTAINABLE TOURISM IN PHU THO PROVINCE, VIETNAM

As a province with many potentials and advantages in tourism development, Phu Tho has made good progress, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. The study focuses on analyzing the current status of sustainable tourism development in Phu Tho province. Research results show that Phu Tho tourism has achieved remarkable results: The growth is not yet stable, tourism activities still have many negative impacts on the environment, the preservation and promotion of cultural values are still limited, etc. The article proposes three groups of solutions, including solutions for mechanisms and policies; groups of solutions for human resource development; a group of solutions to promote, promote and strengthen tourism cooperation and association to develop sustainable tourism in Phu Tho in the future.
