LINGUISTIC REALIZATION OF SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE SCIENTIFIC STYLE IN ENGLISH WRITING SPEECH

Abstract
The article discusses the specific characteristics of the scientific style of speech and describes the language means by which the scientific style is implemented in professional writing in the English language. In the modern world in the conditions of dynamically developing technologies English becomes the language of advanced science, economy, politics and scientific and professional activity. Knowledge of the generally accepted and specific language characteristics of the scientific style, the ability to use them correctly in professional communication in English provides new opportunities in obtaining scientific information and researching by scientists some particular branches of knowledge. The article describes the style dominants reflecting typical standardized characteristics which are common to the scientific text in English and Russian. Special attention is paid to the comparative analysis of the language means of scientific style in the English and Russian languages that allows to identify patterns to be taken into account when translating the texts of this functional style
