Abstract
The article deals with the problems of intercultural communication among the representatives of Russian and British ethnocultures in the context of linguocultural and sociocultural aspects of communication. Merging with the other cultural area in whole and the other language culture in particular is a very difficult and comprehensive process. Due to the fact that contact with the other ethnoculture always brings some difficulties, connecting not only with language barrier, but also with uncertainty of the future immersion into another cultural environment and insufficient preparation of the visitor for the other behaviour stereotype of the host party the questions of interaction communication is one of the actual issues of intercultural communication. The question about necessity of language immersion is one of the most prioritized aims in the process of foreign language study at school and at high school. That's the reason for recommendations to the students and foreign language teachers to practice their language knowledge in native-language countries. Although the quality of language education is very high in a native country, a lot of Russians visiting such countries have definite problems sometimes adjoining to intercultural conflicts in communication with native speakers due to the difficulty of alien mentality perception. The material of the research is based on the undertaken analysis of the foreign language teachers' experience visiting East Anglia with the aim of language practice. The analysis is undertaken by different aspects, among of which are sociocultural, socioethical and language analysis. The author gives numerous examples of intercultural communication mistakes. The material of the research has scientific and practical character and will be helpful for people who want to visit Great Britain for language practice
