Abstract
In the present article, the actual problem of modern linguistics is considered – the process of nomination, through the interaction of such factors as meaning and reference, as well as their influence on the process is under consideration. It seems relevant to consider meaning in terms of the surrounding world, so semantics should include the whole volume of human knowledge which does not contradict the meaning. Moreover, there are some terms in the language that can not be divided into smaller components, but they can be interpreted by events coming around
