Abstract
He trope contrast is a fundamental stylistic compositional device of text organization. Despite being multiaspective, contrast reveals its double nature: the plan of content and the plan of expression. The principle of figurative contrast is distinguished as forming certain parts of the text. Being realized by antonimia in key positions of a message, it is supported by additional means. Due to the method of historism, authors use early but, at the same time, representative β public β political discourse of Moscow Russia of the 2nd half of the 16th century.
