On the issue of the civil war in Belarus in 1918-1920

The article analyzes the approach to the interpretation of the events of 1918-1920. on the territory of the modern Republic of Belarus as a civil war. The author believes that the historical facts that have taken place quite convincingly indicate that in the lands of Belarus in the specified period of time, there were phenomena that did not allow them to be interpreted as a classic civil war. They can only be viewed as a special political process with the participation of various armed formations that do not pursue goals characteristic of a civil war.
