Abstract
This article discusses the role of endocrine indicators in the assessment of adaptation processes. In the course of the study, it was observed against the background of an annual adaptation wave (an increase in the release of the hormone at the beginning of the school year and a gradual decrease towards its end), there are ups and downs of activity corresponding to the beginning and end of separate quarters. According to the revealed data, we concluded that the endocrine indicators allow us to accurately assess the significance for the student's body of various features of the organization of the educational process, and first of all, the nature and magnitude of the educational load.
