Abstract
The article outlines a brief essay on the development and formation of two branches of psychophysiological knowledge — physiology and psychology of labor as separate areas of science. The basic preconditions for their emergence and further development are described. The review on the history of development and formation of two branches of psychophysiological knowledge — physiology and psychology of labor, as independent areas of science, revealed the basic preconditions for their emergence. The most significant achievements of the 20th century scientists and contemporaries working in this direction are shown. The main aspects of improving the efficiency and creating conditions for optimal livelihoods, organization of workplaces, rationalization of labor processes, optimization of the production environment, and, as a consequence, increase in the efficiency of labor in general are formulated. The mentioned problems of modern physiology and psychology of labor activity. The recommendations on optimization of labor process in the system of scientific organization of human labor activity are given. Found that application Physiological and psychological laws in the organization of labor activities of employees have a positive impact on improving the management of personnel at enterprises.
