Abstract
The use and exploitation of drones and the Internet of things is not new and work has already been done in many areas or disciplines, especially in the field of precision agriculture, the research project that is being carried out had the initial objective of seeing How is it possible to take advantage of these technologies in areas where the work area is very large and, in addition, connectivity to telecommunications services is practically nil, something very common in many territories, such as in Latin American countries. For the development of the project, the 3DR Solo drone, 11 systems composed of sensors (humidity, temperature, GPS and solar brightness) and the NodeMCU V3 development board were used that includes the ESP8266 wifi module and a Raspberry Pi 4 model B microcomputer from 4GB, With this system it was possible to capture the data taken by the sensors, store them and subsequently supply them to a spatial database system. The built application is the first step for the development of new research projects that strengthen the union of these technologies (Drones, Sensors and IoT), especially focused on precision agriculture
