Abstract
This paper analyses the typical causes of transformer failures and associated elements that affected the service provided by the telecommunications company's base stations over one year, also reviewing the duration of the incidents. A Monte Carlo simulation is carried out to determine the failure percentage of the elements with the highest amount of repairs in the evaluated period. To simulate the failures that affect the energy service for the base station, a failure tree was required to establish the relationship between the variables. Finally, the proposed action plans for the company are presented, aimed at reducing the occurrence of a typical system.
