Abstract
Key success factors are an important management tool. It includes several areas of activity that the company must develop in order to achieve victory in the competition. The article discusses lists of key success factors for different industries. In the writings of modern economists, these lists differ. The works of various authors are examined, where the key success factors in the field of air transportation, processing industry, baking industry, as well as for universities of the international level are identified. The list of key success factors for universities differs significantly from similar lists for other institutions. The reasons for this situation are determined. Based on this, conclusions are drawn regarding the prospects of forming a list of key success factors for the labor. Based on the review, an enlarged list of key success factors has been compiled. Using the analogy method, similar success factors for the labor are identified. The list of key success factors for the labor includes five groups. The first group includes key success factors associated with the professional development of the individual. They relate to issues such as advanced training, self-study, cognitive abilities of a person. The second group is professional key success factors. This includes factors that benefit the enterprise from the professional qualities of the employee. The third group is personal key success factors. This includes health, appearance, attitude to work, creativity and other factors that shape a person's personality. The fourth group is related to job search. It reflects the experience and capabilities of a person in this sphere. For example, the experience of writing an effective resume, the reputation of a professional in the business field. The fifth group concerns labor self-organization of a person. This is his ability to effectively organize the labor process, invest money in self-development and so on.
