Abstract
Given the current situation and the peculiarities of development and further formation of the energy market in the western region of Ukraine, there is an important problem, which is a sufficient level of quality and reliability, energy resources, including electricity. In other words, ensuring a smooth and sufficiently stable rate of transportation and distribution under the influence of existing internal and external threats. The content of electricity is set as «a combination of all types of energy transformation from operating energy resources to existing receivers of this energy.» The development of energy as an industry and economy not only in the region but also in Ukraine opens up great prospects for the region. The article considers in general the condition of the entire electric network of Volyn and the available equipment. The main organization that produces and distributes electricity to consumers is studied. The existing problems in energy supply to users are analyzed and ways to overcome them are identified. The development of the use of alternative sources and construction, repair of new ones are considered. Electricity is a branch of industry of Ukraine that provides production, transmission, distribution of electricity to consumers. It is the basic industry of Ukraine and works stably compared to others, although over the last decade output has decreased by almost one third. Production is based on the use of various minerals such as coal, fuel oil, natural gas, peat, nuclear energy, wind, solar, water and geothermal energy. The basis of electricity is a unified and coordinated electricity system that meets the needs of consumers, it joins the systems of neighboring regions, countries and creates exports and imports of energy produced. The power system is a so-called combination, namely, of all existing power plants and all power grids, which are interconnected and must contain one common mode of uninterrupted supply of energy to consumers.
