INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY AND INNOVATIVE POTENTIAL OF ENTERPRISE PERSONNEL: THE CONCEPTUAL APPROACH TO MANAGEMENT

Abstract
The review of scientific works and the survey of 155 employees conducted by the author at industrial enterprises of Kryvyi Rih enable determining a stable interrelationship between personnel's innovative activity and innovative potential. Given this fact, the conceptual idea of the study of this relationship is justified. In its presentation, the understanding of innovative potential of personnel as a set of their own innovative abilities and opportunities in innovative activity of an enterprise is taken into account. It is also proposed to relate innovative potential of the enterprise personnel with the desire of employees to carry out innovative activities, final results, efficiency and financing of further development. To manage innovative potential of enterprise personnel in order to increase innovative activity, the conceptual approach to management of employees' innovative abilities and opportunities based on a three-dimensional model is proposed. The model is a pyramid with employees' innovative abilities, innovative opportunities and desire to carry out innovative activities as its base and innovative activity as its top. Regarding the parameters of the base of the pyramid, it is proposed to form a management concept — the idea of management which is aimed at ensuring a qualitatively new level of employees' innovative activity by developing their innovative abilities and expanding innovative oppotunities. The article determines that management of employees' innovative abilities and opportunities should be considered in the aspects of assessing and monitoring their level, identifying the need for development of innovative abilities of employees and developing programs for their specialized training, developing programs for finding additional innovative opportunities for employees, motivation and financing.
