Abstract
The article is devoted to the investigation of mental activities in receiving information. It describes the peculiarities of perceiving process. It says about complex of object characteristics which causes multi-modal perceptions. The article states perception is a complicated cognitive process. The object and its features should be investigated with the help of perceiving algorithm. The article underlines the important role of mental activi- ties in receiving information from the environment. It describes the points of perceiving activities such as detec- tion, differentiation, identification and recognition. It describes the so called representative sensory system.
