Abstract
This article aims to show the evaluation of the positional accuracy achieved by the low-cost receiver NEO-M8N-0-10 especially for use in the capture of control points, in mapping and photogrammetry projects. To achieve this objective, a GNSS data capture system in UBX format was made, which is stored in an SD, for its later conversion to RINEX format, and postprocessing to determine the geolocation of several control points. The coordinates of these points will be compared with those captured by a geodesic GNSS receiver, additionally, the positional accuracy of two orthomosaics created with the sets of control points generated will be evaluated. With this system and the evaluation of the positional accuracy, it was possible to evaluate whether or not it is convenient to generate the control point process with these low-cost GNSS receivers.
