Abstract
The main objective of this study is to find the impact of father's employment status and influence of parents, spouse and relative decision on choosing the Entrepreneurship as a career choice by Emirati youngsters. The current study focuses on Emirati undergraduate students and their career choice of selecting entrepreneurship as their specialization. In this current study, the variable family background is tested with the professional occupation of the father, either it is self-employment or paid employment. The study is conducted to understand if there is any association of father's employment and influence of parents, spouse and relative decision on choosing the career choice of Emirati youngsters. A statistical model called “Log Linear Models” is used for obtaining the relationship between the categorical attributes. It describes the joint probability distribution in terms of association among the predictors of all categorical attributes. For the purpose of our analysis used notations to identify the cell as A*B*C*D table with A variable having ???? ????ℎ index, B variable having ???? ????ℎ index, C variable having ???? ????ℎ index and D variable having ???? ????ℎ index. Association of a contingency table was analyzed using four-way variance analysis. The findings of this study state that the nine different combinations of relationships can (as tested in the 6th model of log linear) influence the Emirati Youngsters to decide entrepreneurship as their career choice.
