Abstract
In this essay, various green technologies of Electric and Hybrid vehicles available and implemented across globe for Indian scenario are evaluated. The evaluation has been done based on Strategic planning required, operational challenges, climatic conditions, investment requirements and resources available etc. As lot of R&D is in progress in EV technology development and huge demand for electric vehicles, in future the electric vehicle cost will reach below other types of vehicles.
