Abstract
The article discusses such a specific type of violence against a child as bullying. The concept of bullying (bullying) as an extremely negative social manifestation of violence that is committed against a child as the most vulnerable category of society is revealed. Analyzed the statistical indicators of the spread of this phenomenon, including in Ukraine. The main components of the characteristics and types of bullying based on the research of foreign scientists are presented. The importance of the implementation of safety measures in relation to the child as the main function of state administration was emphasized. The national regulatory framework created to provide mechanisms for the protection of victims of bullying and a system of punishments for the participants in the commission of bullying was investigated. Analyzed the existing in Ukraine judicial practice to determine the punishment for bullying. Gaps in legislation have been identified that need to be addressed to ensure the protection of a child who has suffered from this type of violence. The mechanisms of counteracting bullying in the context of international experience are considered. Attention is focused on the need to develop effective prophylactic means to prevent bullying, taking into account the implementation of anti-bulging programs tested in the countries of international alcohol production. The importance of the interaction of all social institutions to reduce the level of aggression that occurs in a child's environment and has negative consequences for the development of future generations is emphasized.
