IMPACT OF WORKPLACE CONFLICT ON JOB SATISFACTION AND EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE

Abstract
The Conflict at the workplaces is generally viewed as one of the most destructive antecedent of demotivation, risk of losing the job, reducing level of the employees' job satisfaction, and even it reduces to the employee's job performance which ultimately leads to a significant reduction in the overall organizational job performance. This cross-sectional quantitative research study based on primary as well as secondary data was conducted to know the relationship between workplace conflicts, job satisfaction and employees performance in public sector organizations. After data analysis this study have identifies that workplace conflict has a moderate positive impact on job satisfaction and employees' performance at public sector organizations. These findings are against to most of the studies which claimed a reverse relationship in both cases workplace conflict- job satisfaction and workplace conflict-employees' performance at private sector organizations.
